Page 1 of 8 17 December, 2020 Narendra Singh Tomar Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Satyamev Jayate A letter to the farmers and sisters dear farmers, brothers and sisters, I have been in constant contact with you for the last few days regarding historical agricultural reforms.  .  In the past, I have had talks with farmer organizations of many states.  Many farmer organizations have welcomed these agricultural reforms, they are very happy with it, a new hope has arisen in the farmers.  Examples of farmers from different regions of the country are also being found who have started taking advantage of new agricultural laws.  But the other side of these agricultural reforms is that some farmers organizations have created an illusion about them.  As the agriculture minister of the country, it is my duty to remove the confusion of every farmer, to remove the concern of every farmer.  It is my responsibility to put before you the truth and true status of the conspiracy being hatched between the government and the farmers in Delhi and the surrounding area.  I come from a family of farmers.  Considering both the nuances of farming and the challenges of farming, I have grown up.  Waking up late at night to provide water to the field, running to close it when the water breaks the running water, fear of untimely rain, the joy of timely rain - all these have been a part of my life too.  I have also seen waiting weeks after harvest to sell it.  Even under these conditions and circumstances, the farmer of the country tries to produce more and more food for the country.  We have given this will of the farmer of India, this will

Page 1 of 8 17 December , 2020 नरेन्द्र सिंह तोमर कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री , भारत सरकार सत्यमेव जयते किसान भाइयों और बहनों के नाम एक पत्र प्रिय किसान भाइयो और बहनो , ऐतिहासिक कृषि सुधारों को लेकर पिछले कुछ दिनों से मैं लगातार आपके संपर्क में हूं । बीते दिनों मेरी अनेक राज्यों के किसान संगठनों से बातचीत हुई है । कई किसान संगठनों ने इन कृषि सुधारों का स्वागत किया है , वे इससे बहुत खुश हैं , किसानों में एक नई उम्मीद जगी है । देश के अलग - अलग क्षेत्रों से ऐसे किसानों के उदाहरण भी लगातार मिल रहे हैं , जिन्होंने नए कृषि कानूनों का लाभ उठाना शुरु भी कर दिया है । लेकिन इन कृषि सुधारों का दूसरा पक्ष यह भी है कि कुछ किसान संगठनों में इन्हें लेकर एक भ्रम पैदा कर दिया गया है । देश का कृषि मंत्री होने के नाते , मेरा कर्तव्य है कि हर किसान का भ्रम दूर करूं , हर किसान की चिंता दूर करूं । मेरा दायित्व है कि सरकार और किसानों के बीच दिल्ली और आसपास के क्षेत्र में जो झूठ की दीवार बनाने की साजिश रची जा रही है , उसकी सच्चाई और सही वस्तुस्थिति आपके सामने रखू । मैं किसान परिवार से आता हूं । खेती की बारीकियां और खेती की चुनौतियां , दोनों को ही देखते हुए , समझते हुए , मैं बड़ा हुआ हूं । खेत में पानी देने के लिए देर रात तक जागना , पानी चलते हुए मेड़ टूट जाने पर उसे बंद करने के लिए भागना , असमय बारिश का डर , समय पर बारिश की खुशी- ये सब मेरे भी जीवन का हिस्सा रहे हैं । फसल कटने के बाद उसे बेचने के लिए हफ्तों का इंतजार भी मैंने देखा है । इन स्थितियों , परिस्थितियों के बीच भी देश का किसान देश के लिए ज्यादा से ज्यादा अन्न उपजाने का प्रयास करता है । भारत के किसान के इस परिश्रम को , इस इच्छाशक्ति को हमने
